equal support for single parents (CTC/WTC/Child Benefit/Housing)

Additional Information

Shared residence should mean shared residence, the DWP/HMRC should not be able to make a decision about whom a "main career" for a child is when a court order states clearly, shared residence and equal rights and responsibilites.

Any financial assistance should be shared properly, and all gateway benefits on just having an entitlement to a said benefit.

Housing costs the person currently whom receives Child Benefit is considered main career. Even thou there is a nescessity of having 2/3 bedrooms help is only catered for a Single person. It does not currently take into account childrens needs.

It is a child's best interests for both parents to be able to give a child the very best. Not for the current law to give either parent an advantage, of which can then be used to go back to court, causing further animosity on financial grounds.
