Partners should be aloud to ALL Scans. Also during the whole labour process.
This needs to be CHANGED.
Imagine yourself just giving birth right?
Most woman have to have stitches and can barely move never mind do absolutely everything alone.
Also some woman suffer from depression just after giving birth - how does letting a partner or family member stay for no longer than 1 hour help this?
It doesn’t.
We should be supporting new parents.
Most woman are scared at the thought of labour and to do this alone must be awful.
Change needs to happen.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about who can attend scans are a matter for the NHS, not the UK Government or House of Commons.
On 5 June, the NHS’s suspension of hospital visiting was lifted. This means that visiting is now subject to local discretion by trusts and other NHS bodies. You should check with your maternity team and sonography unit for their policy on visitors attending antenatal appointments, including scans.
