Stop the Ealing Lower Traffic Neighbourhood Scheme.
The Government need to stop Ealing Council from continuing this scheme. It is going against the very aims it has set out to achieve. It has not lowered the traffic but has created more traffic than before. It is directing the pollution to the main roads and harming the cyclists.
They need to act.
Ealing Council has implemented this scheme without consulting its residents beforehand.
The aims of the petition are: Evidence based data on traffic on the roads in question; Success criteria and measurements pre and post trial; A consultation period; How the council thinks this will benefit the emergency services and to reduce the trial period.
