Extend Stamp duty holiday admist Corona virus and lockdown till end of year 2021
With thesame reasons in mind for the stamp duty holiday, an extension till end of year 2021 is not only desirable but important to achieve the desired stimulus in the market. Given that thesame financial impact of the pandemic will continue till the early part of 2021, an extension is essential.
The lockdown restriction has been tightened since the surge in new cases. Self employed business owners are still struggling with getting back. Employers are still reluctant to recruit.
The real estate market has enjoy a significant traction following the initial stamp duty holiday, but as the lockdown continue and financial situations are not significantly better.
A further extension till end of the year 2021 with stimulate the market and assist aspiring home owners to achieve their goals.
