Allow trans people to change their legal gender via self-ID
The UK government have announced that they will be taking away the right to self-identify from trans people. If a person hasn’t been diagnosed with gender dysphoria for less than 2 years and doesn’t pass, they are denied the right to change their gender on their ID. This is a breach of trans rights.

Your petition states that the Government are taking away the right to self-identify, but the result of the Government's consultation was that was that the Government concluded that the balance struck by the current legislation, and the requirements for having a change in gender identified, is correct and that there are therefore no plans to change these: www.gov.uk/government/speeches/response-to-gender-recognition-act-2004-consultation
