Support for DJs and the private events industry

Petition Details

The events industry is on its knees soon to collapse, with no income from events since March 2020 many businesses are going under never to return.

Additional Information

1. A further business support grant.
2. An extension of the Furlough & SEIS schemes until it's safe to return to work.
3. Further assistance in preventing actions from landlords who are playing ‘hard ball’ with us as tenants, including specific action to stop landlords forcing out tenants operating in our sector and then applying for ‘change of use’ for their premises.
4. A commitment to work with our representative body, The Association of UK DJs and the wider industry.
6. Grants (Not Loans) to be made available to ALL DJs and event companies that fall outside existing support schemes.
7. Provide financial support and grants to companies registered as a LTD, with or without a fixed business premises.
