Petition Details

Make electric scooters legal to reduce our carbon footprint / cut emissions.
Allow owners to register there privately owned e scooters with the DvLA and get insurance so they can be responsible riders

Additional Information

Legalising privately owned e scooters that are insured and registered to the owner will make riders responsible
for there actions which will make e scooters safer on the road.
It will help commuters get to and from work safety during this difficult time with Covid-19 which will help the economy keep going.
This is the best and safest way forward at the moment to avoid catching the virus.
So it’s good for helping with pollution
and keeping us safe from Covid while we get through this tough time
