Assess the appropriateness of the response to COVID in relation to its lethality
I would the Government to include a much bigger scientific community to assess the COVID response and the proportionality of the measures in relation to the lethality of the virus. In particular the constant imposition of restrictions to reduce the curve, which will be endless.
The restrictions placed on life with the damage to the economy don't seem to be proportional to the lethality of the virus. Cancer, flu, degenerative brain conditions all remain much higher killers of the population. At a time where it is already known taxes will need to rise to pay for the measures it seems prudent to assess if the measures a worth the pain, or if the government and its employed advisers are pandering to an increasingly hostile media that pushes an unrelaistic lethality.
