Set out a plan for reviewing and lifting the rule of 6
The Government should provide people with more clarity on plans for reviewing and lifting recent restrictions, including what triggers will lead to the rule being reviewed (e.g cases below “x”), and what the expected outcomes of such a review will be (e.g complete lifting of restrictions).
Businesses, Brides and Grooms, Performance, Sports, General mental health and wellbeing are all affected by this rule, and the associated inability to make plans for the future.
By giving a roadmap the Government can incentivise citizens to follow the rules as they will have targets to work towards to see restrictions lifted. It is unacceptable for the current restrictions to persist without more transparency.
