Change insurance cancellations from forever to the same a driving points.
To change how insurance cancellations are viewed on your license. If you accidentally forget to disclose information to your provider you are then punished for the rest of your life and have to face higher insurance but if caught speeding or drink driving it is removed after 5+ years.
One is a accident. One could kill someone. I feel that a cancellation should fall under that same retribution. So if cancelled for non disclosure. Should be removed after 2 years. Anything relating to fraud or something more serious, Should face a stricter penalty. A simple mistake shouldn’t cost you £1000’s for the rest of you life or sometimes not even being able to get insured.
