Parliament’s licensed premises to cease selling alcohol at 10pm every evening.
I want licensed premises Within the Palace of Westminster to cease selling alcohol at 10pm every evening until such time as the 10pm curfew is lifted on the licensed trade. Parliament and the Government to take appropriate action for this to happen.
To set an example to the nation in observing the rules it has imposed on licensed premises during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Since you started your petition it has been announced that alcohol will not be sold after 10pm anywhere on the parliamentary estate. In line with the Government’s guidance on workplaces, catering facilities will remain open later (but no selling of alcohol) when the House is sitting, to serve food for those still working and to support social distancing.
