Government subsidise this year's university tuition fees
The government should subsidise the tuition for university students this year in recognition of the lesser quality of education that will be recieved this year due to coronavirus restrictions. They should subsidise by 50% or more.
Coronavirus will lead to a large amount of unemployment, this will mean that many students may be unable to find employment as successfully. A large amount of debt and an uncertain time ahead. This is putting growing stress on students. In addition to this, the quality of education will be reduced and overall university experience. The government should recognise this and subside our fees. Failing that they should write to the universities and ask if they can reduce their fees.
