Guarantor loans investigation for treatment of the vulnerable.
The Government/parliament need to implement stricter and fairer rules such as fines or closure if companies persistently cause harassment and intimidation.
The FCA who regulate them are given more authority
Government fine or close down companies
Investigations carried out on companies
Regular monitoring of how customers are treated especially the vulnerable
Vulnerability training is mandatory.
More rights for guarantors if main borrower stops contacting creditor to make payment.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you are concerned about actions by some lenders, but it's not clear what you want the Government to do about this.
The Financial Conduct Authority already has a number of powers to take action against firms and individuals who do not meet their standards. The Financial Conduct Authority is an independent body so we couldn't accept a petition calling for them to initiate an investigation.
