Should the government take legal action against the NUT and NASUWT to compensate for financial losses as a result of teacher strikes?
Allowing teachers the right to strike has catastrophic consequences on our economy. Millions of individuals across the country are set to lose out financially as a result of the strikes. Equally, health care provision has been heavily undermined due to staff absence in order to cover for childcare. Should the government seek to compensate the employers and employees who have lost out as a result of the teacher strikes, through litigation proceedings against the NUT?
