To allow fathers to be at the whole process of giving birth to their children.
To allow fathers or support people to be with expecting mums for the whole process
If we can go to shops, pubs, school then surely people of the same bubble or even same house hold should be aloud to support the expecting Mother during this scarey time

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about who can attend scans and births are a matter for the NHS, not the UK Government or House of Commons.
On 5 June, the NHS’s suspension of hospital visiting was lifted. This means that visiting is now subject to local discretion by trusts and other NHS bodies. You should check with your maternity team and sonography unit for their policy on visitors attending births.
