Allow children's parties to continue within a class bubble

Petition Details

I am urging you to authorise children’s parties and entertainment for children within a class bubble. This should boost the children’s morale and give them a much-needed pick-me-up at a time when there is so much they can’t do.

Additional Information

The child party industry has worked very hard to ensure parties are COVID Secure, but there is a lack of clear guidance regarding children’s parties and what can and cannot be done. If the exact same children in a class bubble can see each daily, why can't the same children attend a birthday party in a covid secure venue?

Playgroups are allowed to run, where children are not in bubbles. Why can the children's party, an industry worth over half a billion pounds every years, not continue.
