Petition Action

Implement 3 Pillars to vanquish Covid19: underpinned by Testing & a Risk Waiver.

Petition Details

The 3 Pillars to vanquish Covid19 are:
1. Shield all vulnerable
2. Furlough 60-65's
3. Allow <60's to re-establish the economy and schools.
Underpinned by Testing on exception basis, and an online Risk Waiver.

Additional Information

Evidence in the public domain demonstrate that current Govt measures are ineffectual, for example:
1. Concerns raised by the Majors (eg Andy Burnham in Grt Manchester) of the cities impacted by local lockdowns,
2. Condemnation of Govt performance on Testing (eg Dr Gabriel Scully)

The proposed 3 Pillars seek to provide the solution to create the environment in which to either vanquish the covid19 virus or diminish it to nominal insignificance ie near zero-covid, and with fewer deaths.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We understand that you want the Government to change its approach to the Covid-19 outbreak, but it's not clear exactly how this would work, including what you mean by "Testing on exception basis" or "an online Risk Waiver".

We have published the following petitions, some of which you might like to sign:

Fund & provide services to allow the vulnerable to shield & re-open the economy: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/552023

Lift local lockdowns and Covid-19 restrictions in England: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/551469

You could start a new petition stating more clearly what changes you want the Government to make to its approach to Covid-19.
