Petition Action

Demand Rishi Sunak’s resignation for discrimination

Petition Details

The government has a responsibility to ensure that it’s policies are free from discrimination. Rishi Sunak has purposefully denied certain industries any support whilst removing their rights to work due to local and national lockdowns, in doing so breaching their rights.

Additional Information

By allowing Chancellor Rishi Sunak to continue his work, the government is systematically destroying millions of jobs and the industries that support them. To claim that these jobs are unviable because they were refused financial support whilst being told it is illegal to operate is a step too far. Rishi Sunak is responsible for deciding not to support these industries. In doing so he has made the U.K. the worst performing in Europe and the G7, highlighting his incompetence. Time to retrain?

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for MPs/Cabinet Ministers to be sacked.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
