Allow at least one person to visit a sick relative in Hospital
Despite the Pandemic it is perfectly possible for family members to visit the sick in hospital
It is cruel that those who are ill to be denied this basic human right
Humans need contact when I’ll from a loved one at least and this is currently being denied
People who are ill are being subject to mental cruelty by not being allowed a visitor
Families are likewise in great distress as a result
By focussing so much on Covid the NHS is being destroyed for the millions of people who need its support
This must be rectified quickly

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government's guidance make clear that visiting people in hospital is allowed in all tiers.
Visitng policies for individual hospitals are a matter for NHS England and individual NHS trusts, not the Government or House of Commons. You should contact your local hospital to find out what their visiting policy is.
