Petition Action

Pass the Attenborough act. The banning of the use of fossil fuels.

Petition Details

Whilst there is already so much being done, more can be done and all it takes is a country with power and influence over the world. England can do this and whilst in the current economic climate it is not easy, there can still be a start towards a change like this.

Additional Information

There is no other way in which a change to this scale can be carried out. It has to be a national decision with the full power of the government.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We understand you want fossil fuels to be banned, but it is not clear whether you want this ban to apply to the production of fossil fuels in the UK, to products which are manufactured using fossil fuels, or to vehicles and other machinery which are powered by fossil fuels.
