Petition Action

Extra funding for sanitation in schools during Covid-19 pandemic.

Petition Details

Provide extra funding to schools to cover the £50,000 per term costs of sanitation in schools during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Additional Information

schools arebspending £50,000 a term or £150,000 a year for sanitation during the Covid-19 pandemic. This money needs to be reimbursed, or children's education, well-being and mental health will suffer due to these costs having a ongoing knock on effect not only on the education and opportunities for our children but also these costs will have a very negative effect on the wider services and provision provided by schools. School want to stay open and provide our service and support our communities, please support schools with direct financial support for Covid-19 reduction measures.
