Petition Action

Lock down or don't lock down - no inbetween

Petition Details

Either put the WHOLE of the UK into a lockdown, or remove all random local restrictions.
Mental health services, employability services and the benefit system are being overwhelmed

Additional Information

Cases may be rising but so are tests being carried out and death rates are very low. While the deaths are awful for all those linked, the UK as a whole should not be held hostage to the virus. We need to continue to attempt to build an immunity to this and other illnesses.
As a result of constant lockdowns and restrictions people are not accessing health support for other illnesses and death rates elsewhere are rising. Jobs are going and even the most established businesses are closing.
