Updated guidance is needed to help schools support their trans and gender-questioning students. This should encourage teachers to ask students for their pronouns and preferred names.

Additional Information

Many students cannot legally change their names or gender on legal documents, and many students’ parents may not let them do as such, therefore i think that asking is very important.
