Make ‘can be recycled’ labelling clearer on all products

Petition Details

The government should require manufacturers to introduce red /green stickers on their products – red if it can’t be recycled, green if it can, and amber if mixed plastic, to make it clearer for consumers.

Additional Information

This would help towards saving the environment. Not everyone recycles, sometimes people can be confused around the packaging on items as some plastics are non-recyclable - making this unclear for some who want to make a contribution to the recycling programme.
