Stop the extortionate sales of mixed breed puppies and kittens,
Bring down the profiteering of mongrels, ginger, tabby, black and white moggies are being sold for £150 upwards, poochonjacks and other mixed breeds are being sold for £1000 upwards, this is encouraging breeding for sale by people wanting to profit not having pets for family, home life
This is a growing trend in what are essentially mongrels and encourages puppy farming which is illegal but still happens

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. We understand you want to limit the price that puppies are sold for, however this is a private matter between the breeder and the buyer. You could start a petition calling for increased regulation of the sale of puppies if that is something you'd like to happen.
