Petition Action

Stop people in Tier 3 Covid areas in England from visiting other areas

Petition Details

Explicitly require that people living n Tier 3 areas do not travel outside of these areas, other than for the reasons outlined in the current Westminster Government guidance.

Additional Information

Currently the Westminster Government is asking people to 'try to avoid' leaving Tier 3 areas, we believe that stronger action is required to explicitly prohibit people from leaving these areas, other than for the reasons set out in the Westminster Government guidance: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/local-covid-alert-levels-what-you-need-to-know.

By allowing people the discretion to 'try to avoid,' leaving their areas, the Westminster Government risk the spread of Covid-19 to other lower prevalence areas.
