Additional Information

Parliament haven't been looking at calls for gyms and hospitality that have extremely low cases of covid to remain open, for health and mental health, also the government have given themselves a pay rise but refused to give frontline NHS staff a pay rise and cutting workers pay to a third, meaning family's are going to struggle to survive.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't publish petitions about honours or appointments. That includes calling for MPs to be sacked or resign.

The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for setting MPs' pay. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.

You can find out more about IPSA here: www.theipsa.org.uk/about-us/
