Petition Details

To introduce to the curriculum lessons on bullying and the severe affect it has on mental health.

Additional Information

Helping children understand the affects of bullying through lessons may lessen the amount of children being bullied in school, as more kids will be taught about educated about bullying.

The new relationships and sex education (RSE) and health education curriculum, which is mandatory from this academic year, already includes content on different types of bullying, the impact of bullying, responsibilities of bystanders and how to get help: assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/908013/Relationships_Education__Relationships_and_Sex_Education__RSE__and_Health_Education.pdf
