Minimum Wage Increase
Minimum Wage was initially in force to protect young businesses from collapsing, however, more and more established companies are manipulating the system and taking decent hard working people for granted by paying the absolute bare minimum on our wages.
As a result, more and more people are finding that it doesn't pay to work and coincidently plenty of people in full time employment are struggling to stay afloat.
Companies have a joint responsibility at establishing their company as well as meeting the needs of their employees. With this in mind, our wages need to increase reflecting the true cost of living, without pushing prices up, such as food and petrol, in the process.
We work to live. Not live to work.
