To stop child labour.
We want the government or parliment to pronounce that institutions must have a code of conduct and display it when asked. Furthermore, we would like random inspections to be carried out multiple times of the year of factories to ensure that these institutions are abiding by their code of conduct.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. There are already restrictions on child labour, abuses of which can be prosecuted. You can find out more here:
www.gov.uk/child-employment
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as banning under 16s for working at all, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
