Abolish the two-child limit on Universal Credit in light of the Covid19 pandemic

Petition Details

The two child limit that has been in place on Universal Credit since 2017 is unfair, particularly in light of Covid-19 which proves that it is nigh on impossible to predict future financial status.

Additional Information

Covid-19 meant my partner lost his job, and he is now working on just over the minimum wage. Additionally, due to childcare issues with my daughters before and after school club, I am no longer in a position to return to work after my maternity leave. We have now had to claim UC for the first time, and because 2 of our 3 children are born after 2017, we are limited to support for the eldest two children.
