Include miscarriage and baby loss in the sex education curriculum in schools.
To include miscarriage and baby loss in sex education classes in high school to better inform our young people.
Sex education in British schools should cover not only the acts of intercourse, conception, gestation and birth - but also miscarriage and child loss.
1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, and more than 80 percent of these losses happen before 12 weeks.
By not teaching our young people the risks, possibilities and realities of pregnancy we are doing them a disservice in understanding some of the harsh realities that come with adulthood.
The stigma must end.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The new relationships and sex education (RSE) and health education curriculum, which is compulsory from this academic year, already states that by the end of secondary school students should know the facts around pregnancy including miscarriage: assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/908013/Relationships_Education__Relationships_and_Sex_Education__RSE__and_Health_Education.pdf
