Can we keep to British Summer Time this year for more light later in the day?

Petition Details

The UK government should vote to keep to British Summer Time this year to help boost our mental and physical health.

Additional Information

It would mean more light later in the day and may be helpful for our general mental health especially in this difficult year. Sunshine levels boost vitamin D which has physical health benefits and strengthens our immune system. This change may therefore help us be more resilient mentally and physically. As a society we have discussed this for years, so we can actively choose to make this positive change in response to the new challenges facing us now.
