Enoble Archbishop Sentamu to be a member of the House of Lords
To respect the enormous contribution Archbishop Sentamu has made in British society as the first black Archbishop of York by debating and voting in favour of enobling him into the House of Lords.
This will be acknowledgement of his contribution and valuing of the nature of how he is held in high esteem and a role model for the BAME community and proponents of an anti-racist society.
He still has a lot to offer in the legislative process through his lived experiences in his previous judiciary and religious roles.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't publish petitions about honours or appointments. That includes calling for people to be appointed to the House of Lords.
You can find out how members of the House or Lords are appointed here: www.parliament.uk/business/lords/whos-in-the-house-of-lords/members-and-their-roles/how-members-are-appointed/
