Fund private rooms for those who have suffered baby loss
I would like the Government to fund the NHS to create private rooms in hospitals & birthing centres for when a parent has to give birth to a child that has sadly passed away. I personally think it should be close to the exit so that when it is time to say goodbye you don’t have to walk past others.
As someone who has experienced baby loss I gave birth and I went to leave the maternity home I had to walk through the maternity ward and see and hear newborns crying which was gut wrenching I feel having a room for those who have to experience this painful time at the front of the maternity home should be a room.
Where they can deliver their baby and spend as much time as needed and be able to leave the hospital and not having to walk around after such a traumatic experience.
