Hold public supervisors vulnerable people to account
Once again LESSONS HAVE NOT BEEN LEARNT and innocent people have died of negligence of social services, ranging from inadequate child supervision, letting unbalanced people into community and early release of of sex offenders (Out of 550,000 adult sex offenders, between July 2010 and June 2011, 140,000 of them committed a re-offence within 1 year at a re-offending rate of 25.5 per cent). Is it not time to hold those in public office who oversee these issues to account with charges such as negligence while in office including custodial sentences for involuntary manslaughter and confiscation of their pensions?
