Lift NHS Pregnancy restrictions and allow Fathers in appointments.
I like many others am expecting a child but as a father I am not involved. I have to wait outside due to overbearing Covid restrictions.
All NCT clases are online, I've not met our midwife once and have to support my partner and wait outside as she has important tests.
I want the government to lift these restrictions in what should be the most exciting time of a persons life.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about visitors are a matter for the NHS, not the Government or House of Commons.
With regard to antenatal appointments, scans, and the birth itself, on 5 June, the NHS’s suspension of hospital visiting was lifted. This means that visiting is now subject to local discretion by trusts and other NHS bodies. You should check with your maternity team and sonography unit for their policy on visitors attending antenatal appointments, including scans
