Repeat the school year for summer-born children
I am a mum of an 8-year-old son in Year 4 and he is struggling with his learning, first because he is the youngest in the class and mostly he lost most of the last academic year because of the pandemic. Please can you consider for all summer born children to repeat the lost academic year 2019-2020.
Our children's future is getting destroyed because of being illiterate does not help our society, our economy, our vision. We as parents are suffering mentally, emotionally seeing our kids regressing rather then progressing. The pandemic had a huge bad impact in their learning and they have forgotten everything what they have learned before the lockdown and has affected them immensely in every aspect and especially the youngest ones who suffer even more because they do not have the capability.
