Increase food and drink prices for MPs in House of Commons catering venues

Petition Details

This Government voted to not establish free school meal provision during non-term time in the middle of a pandemic and needs to show solidarity. Prices for food and drink for MPs should therefore be increased to market rates in House of Commons catering venues.

Additional Information

This will ensure that MPs pay a fair price for food and drink, rather than benefiting from catering services that mostly operate at a loss, which is ultimately paid for by the tax payer.

In these trying times it's only fair that MPs also suffer a form of hardship.
