MP’s to record reasons for the way they vote.
Clear transparent reasons why MPs vote for or against proposals, even if the reason is to follow the whip system.
Why would an MP vote against extending free school meal vouchers during half term holidays during this awful pandemic? We want to know why the MPs are voting the way they are.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Decisions on how to vote and how to communicate with constituents are a matter for individual MPs.
You could start a petition calling on the House of Commons to provide a way for all MPs to do this if they chose to, if that's what you'd like to see happen, although the debates themselves are intended to be part of this process already.
