Stop MP’s claiming allowances if they earn over £30,000 per annum.

Petition Details

Any Member of Parliament and Politician who earns over £30,000 per annum should not be entitled to claim on any allowances. The money should be used elsewhere for the countries benefit.
There should be a financial document produced annually.

Additional Information

The general public should have the right to challenge any salary that an MP, political and government worker gets annually. Any pay rise must be cleared through a public vote/ panel of randomly selected candidates from the general public.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
