Footballers & agents should donate a portion of their salary to feed hungry kids
Premier league footballers earning more than £100,000 per week should be forced to pay a minimum of 20% of their salaries to a national child poverty fund to be distributed to families to help feed hungry kids. Football agents should also be forced to contribute from their contract fees.
The public is rightly concerned about the plight of children from low income families who struggle to feed their children throughout these difficult times. Those families in receipt of free school meals should be given access to vouchers to be used specifically on feeding their children during school holidays. The government has made provision through increased universal credit and local govt funds. Now let’s ask the highest paid sports men and women to give something back to their communities.
