Make child maintenance payments fair for paying parents to prevent alienation
Reform the CMS. When parents separate. Child maintenance should become payable after parents agree access. Make deduction amounts more transparent. Cms should be easier to deal with.
Children are often weaponised throughout a divorce with suitable access and overnight access denied for financial gain.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or House of Commons to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about current arrangements for child maintenance, but it's not clear how you want these to be changed.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Change method to work out child maintenance to be based on net not gross income: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/334231
We could accept a new petition calling on the Government to make other changes to the rules for child maintenance, but it would need to be clear exactly what changes you want to be made to current arrangements.
