End MP Meal Subsidies
If the government are unwilling to help vulnerable children, they themselves should pay full price for their own meals. Especially considering the hefty wage they are paid. This money can then go into funding for the NHS or to people who need it
MP’s are already paid a high wage and unlike many, have not felt the struggles of poverty that COVID has brought to many. They are supposed to be in power to make the country better for everyone yet they only care about lining their own pockets. At the very least they can pay full price for their own meals, if this is what they expect everyone else to do.
