Petition Action

Free flu vaccine for teachers, teaching assistants and early years educators

Petition Details

This petition calls on the government to expand access to the free flu vaccine to teachers, teaching assistants and early years educators. Currently this is not available to educators and therefore goes against the PMs aim to keep schools open as much as possible.

Additional Information

The government has said it is crucial that schools remain open as long as possible to as many students as possible to avoid students falling behind their peers, especially after the first lockdown. In order to do this, all people working in an educational setting should have access to the flu vaccine on the NHS to enable educators to stay as healthy as possible. This would help schools to remain open to as many students as possible.
