Raise the Apprentice Minimum Wage Up
Apprentices are trained to do exactly the same job as other employees in any establishment, they are given the same resources, training and support, except they have to complete a qualification while working and they also get paid less. We need the minimum wage for apprentices to be higher.
I have been an apprentice myself, and I know for a fact, because of my first had experience, I am doing exactly the same job as everyone else but I am getting paid a very low amount. Apprentices work around the same hours and work full time, they have the same holidays as other employees, yet out wage is drastically different, the government needs to review the minimum wage for apprentices and realise that it needs to be raised to an adequate and appropriate level!
