Petition Action

Re-evaluate and create a more sustainable COVID-19 Strategy, we are COVID blind

Petition Details

The current COVID strategy is confusing, has a lack of universal public support, is short term and piecemeal. We need a long term strategy such to stop us going COVID blind, or have a graph to count the thousands of deaths and ruined lives caused by taking resource away from where its needed.

Additional Information

We need to stop making COVID excuses - the current approach is blaze, we can blame COVID or say we need a vaccine, what if one doesn't happen? The actions were right for an initial response, but we're not arguing over what Tier 1, or Tier 2 looks like - who cares! Please stop neglecting the British Public and help us see you have a plan for the future.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about the Government's approach to Covid-19, but it's not clear what changes you want the Government to make.

We have published a number of petitions calling on the Government to change its approach to Covid-19, which you might like to sign. You can view all open petitions relating to coronavirus here: petition.parliament.uk/petitions?state=open&topic=covid-19

If there is a specific change you would like the Government to make to its approach, you could start a new petition requesting this.
