Petition Action

For tattoos and piercings to be accepted in a formal working environment.

Petition Details

For tattoos to be accepted and allowed in a work environment as long as they do not contain inappropriate or explicit content. E.g. teachers being able to have a floral tattoo on show. Many people in professional jobs can still be fired due to this. When it is common in society and is an art form

Additional Information

It is a freedom of expression and art. As long as it’s not inappropriate how is it any different to wearing a floral dress versus a spotty one. It does not in anyway affect professional. It’s the 21st century and it’s extremely common. It should not be a factor that can affect job dismissal.
