Stop increasing car insurance premiums after a non-fault claim
Car insurance shouldn't cost you more in the future if you have a non-fault claim against you. Car insurances companies should not be allowed to increase premiums for people that were unfortunate enough to be in an accident that wasn't their fault.
If someone crashes into you when you are parked, for example, your car insurance premiums shouldn't go up.
It's not fair to someone, that was minding their own business, to be in an accident and then have to pay more.
Why should people have to pay more when it is someone else's fault?

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about the price of individual motor insurance policies is a matter for individual insurers, not the Government or House of Commons.
