Increase the personal tax allowance of people made redundant to £50k

Petition Details

Those who are made redundant can face significant financial hardship, and many only get a small redundancy package. There is £30k tax allowance for redundancy packages, but many do not benefit fully from. Increasing their personal tax allowance aims to help all people who are made redundant.

Additional Information

During the current outbreak there has been no direct financial help for this group. There has been help for those who buy properties, 2-3 furlough schemes, and 2-3 business grants, but there has been no additional financial help for the people who have been made redundant.
